LOGISTICS WORKER / LOGISTICS EXPERT –
How do you know you fit in:
- General/secondary studies
- Resistance to sustained physical exertion
- Ability to use cargo handling equipment (lift, forklift)
- Communication skills, active listening and organization
- Attention to detail and sense of responsibility – to prevent product damage
- Team spirit and the ability to work at a fast pace
- It is an advantage for you if you have a forklift license.
What will you do as a LOGISTICS WORKER (goods reception handler) at Brico Dépôt?
- You will be in charge of receiving and checking goods in terms of quality and quantity;
- You handle the goods (unloading, internal transport, organization)
- Label pallets and load merchandise for shipment to other stores/returns to suppliers
- Stock the shelves according to the instructions of the sector manager
- Store products in designated areas, inside or outside the store, according to the assigned areas
- Collect and dispose of empty packaging in the store
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient flow of goods
- You participate in the preparation and loading of goods for delivery to the customer.
What will you do as a LOGISTICS EXPERT at Brico Dépôt?
- Manage the receipt and verification of goods in terms of quality and quantity
- Ensure routine inventory control (intelligent scanning of goods)
- Store goods using the new WMS system (upper shelves in the store or outside the store) according to the areas assigned to each product category
- Participate in the preparation and loading of goods for delivery to the customer
- Prepare and verify merchandise transfers between stores
- Enter freight notices into the system, as well as validate returns to suppliers and transfers.
- Participate in daily routines to correct store inventory to ensure data accuracy and logistics flow
- You participate in stock replenishment processes, contributing to the availability of products on the shelf for customers.
