PowerPoint Presentation Designer (PowerPoint Graphics Focus) – Oracle Database P

We are looking for a detail-oriented presentation designer and editor with strong PowerPoint graphics production experience—someone who can take technical source material and turn it into clear, visually strong presentations. Advanced capability building and refining PowerPoint-native graphics (e.g., diagrams, icons, process flows, architecture visuals, charts, callouts, and layouts) is essential.

You do not need to be a pure visual artist. You do need excellent PowerPoint skills, strong written English, confident visual/formatting instincts, and a sharp eye for structure, consistency, and tone especially when building or improving graphics-heavy slides.

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in presentation design, PowerPoint production, content editing, or an equivalent portfolio that demonstrates strong deck-building ability.
  • Demonstrated PowerPoint graphics experience: building and polishing PowerPoint-native diagrams and visual systems (e.g., architecture slides, workflows, process diagrams, iconography, and annotated technical visuals).
  • Expert or near-expert hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, including layouts, slide masters, templates, and formatting.
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to rewrite technical content clearly, correctly, and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail in slide structure, typography, spacing, alignment, consistency, and overall visual quality.
  • Ability to improve charts, tables, screenshots, and dense technical slides without changing the technical meaning.
  • Experience delivering under deadlines with good communication and time management.
  • A portfolio sample is required and must include examples of PowerPoint graphics/diagrams you created or significantly redesigned (not only text cleanup or template application).

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Understanding of how to tailor decks for executive, customer, field, or technical audiences.
  • Exposure to tech storytelling, product marketing, technical enablement, or software demos is a bonus, but not required.

Why This Role Matters

Your work will help shape how customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams understand Oracle Database technologies. These decks support briefings, launches, field enablement, events, and campaigns, so your work will directly influence clarity, adoption, and product storytelling across Oracle’s ecosystem.

As a Presentation Designer supporting Oracle Database Product Marketing, you will:

  • Work closely with Product Marketers, Program Managers, technical teams, and designers to turn draft decks, rough notes, and complex source material into polished presentations.
  • Update and improve PowerPoint decks for product launches, demos, field enablement, executive reviews, customer presentations, and event talks.
  • Design, build, and refine PowerPoint-native graphics: architecture diagrams, workflows, timelines, feature comparison visuals, icons, callouts, and annotated screenshots—ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Own presentation work from draft to final: slide layout, formatting, visual cleanup, copy editing, speaker-flow improvements, and final delivery.
  • Apply Oracle brand guidelines, tone, visual style, and Redwood design principles to minimize revisions and maintain consistency.
  • Use Microsoft PowerPoint expertly to improve slide masters, typography, charts, tables, diagrams, screenshots, and callouts.
  • Manage and organize deck versions, source assets, naming conventions, and review cycles.
  • Incorporate feedback quickly, edit language for clarity and correctness, and maintain strong communication throughout the revision process.
  • Support broader content and presentation workflows by collaborating with Product Marketers, designers, and subject-matter experts when needed.
  • You enjoy collaboration and make the people around you better.
  • You care about clear writing, clean formatting, and strong visual hierarchy, even when the content is technical.
  • You’re skilled at translating complex concepts into simple, clean PowerPoint visuals—not just formatting slides, but improving understanding through graphics.
  • You respect standards when they matter, but you can still improve a slide when the draft is cluttered, inconsistent, or hard to read.
  • You are flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
  • You are enthusiastic about learning new skills, tools, and technical concepts, especially when they help you explain content better.
