The HR Business Partner (HRBP) role plays a key role in aligning Deichmann’s human resources strategy with business objectives, both within Deichmann (DRO, 40% activity) and Deichmann Logistica Romania (DLR, 60% activity). This role ensures that the talent, structure and culture of the organization are continuously optimized to support performance, agility and sustainable growth.
Main objectives:
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership teams, ensuring that HR practices directly support operational objectives
- Translate business needs into integrated HR solutions, including talent development, skills enhancement, training and organizational design
- To promote a culture of high performance by encouraging employee engagement, accountability and innovation
- To build and strengthen organizational capabilities, identifying skills gaps and supporting team and leadership effectiveness
- Use HR analytics to inform workforce planning, anticipate trends, and proactively manage key challenges such as staff turnover, compliance, and productivity
Responsibilities applicable within DLR (Deichmann Logistica Romania):
– Strategic HR Partnership : Close collaboration with the DLR leadership team to support the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, talent management, performance monitoring and compliance requirements
– Organizational Development: Facilitate workforce planning and change management initiatives, in line with future operational requirements
– Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for employee-related issues, promoting a culture of transparency and continuous feedback
– Performance and Talent Management: Support performance appraisal processes, define development plans and identify top talent from various departments
– HR- data-driven analysis activities : Monitor trends and key indicators (staff turnover, absenteeism, attendance and working time, etc.) to inform business decisions
– Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies in all human resources processes
Responsibilities applicable within DRO – Retail (Sales department):
– Organizational Development: Supporting transition strategies for roles such as Store Manager Mobile and managing succession plans
– Performance and Talent Management: Coordinating performance evaluation processes and designing webinars and training programs tailored to retail needs
– People Analytics: Using data to optimize performance monitoring, forecast staffing needs and support internal mobility
– Project-based initiatives : Contributing to retail-specific projects, providing HR expertise to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder alignment
– Legislative knowledge: Actively involved in reviewing and updating applicable internal policies and procedures (e.g.
Internal regulations, etc.)
Profile
- Completed higher education
- Minimum 2-3 years of similar experience in a Human Resources department
- Solid and applied knowledge of labor law
- Technical and digital skills in using HR software – employee data management, administration, timekeeping (experience with SAP Success Factors is an advantage)
- Advanced PC operating skills – MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and attention to detail
- Proactive, communicative and solution-oriented attitude
- Team spirit, but also autonomy in managing tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
- English language skills at minimum level B2 (written and spoken)
